Progress Report

For those keeping track I just wanted to note that on December 31, 2009 I completed the majority of the outline, meaning I came up with the master list of most of the bands that will be in the book. It's a huge hurdle that's been passed! No doubt I'll be adding bands right up until the end, but I'd say I have a good 80% of what I know will make it. It gets murky when it comes to the hard rock (vs. metal) bands, since there is no master encyclopedia of them out there, and each will have to be evaluated to see if they're heavy enough to make the cut. So now, the real work of tracking down bands and demos kicks into high gear. Very psyched.
